Day 1 - New Lush Products!

Hey everyone,

So, as I promised, here is Day 1 of my Daily Blogging! Today I thought I would blog about one of my favourite shops, Lush, as I recently discovered their new products, and they look amazing!

The first new product that really caught my eye was the 'Tennis Ball' Bath Bomb (£3.75). It just seems like a really cool idea to me, and has a citrus scent (one of my favourite scents!)

The next product is the 'Summer Pudding' Soap (£4). It smells of berries and sweet almonds, and looks so girly and summery!

There are also a few new gift sets that I thought I'd tell you about: Splash (£19.50), Shiny Happy People (£12.75) and Ahoy There (£10.75).

'Splash' is a sea-themed gift set and contains:

  • 'Sea Vegetable' Soap
  • 'Seanik' Shampoo Bar
  • 'Whoosh' Shower Jelly
  • 'Ocean Salt' Face & Body Scrub

'Shiny Happy People' is a citrus scented gift set:

  • 'Bohemian' Soap
  • 'Happy Hippy' Shower Gel
  • Green 'Fun'

'Ahoy There' is another sea-themed gift set, but mainly focuses on skin:

  • 'Ocean Salt' Face & Body Scrub
  • 'Sandstone' Soap

Thanks for reading!

P.S - Don't forget to send me ideas for me to blog about, I want my blog to be interesting for you guys! The only way that I can continue blogging is to have ideas, and I'm trying to make a plan for my Daily Blogging over the next month. However, there's still quite a few empty spaces, and I need you guys to help me out with that by giving me some ideas. If you decide to get in touch (which would mean a LOT to me) then I promise that I will use all of your ideas, and reply to each and every one of you that help me out. Even if you think that your idea is silly, or not important, I promise you that it will still mean a lot, and that I'll still blog about your idea. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Important Announcement!

Hey everyone,

I am SO sorry for not blogging in so long! I feel really guilty that I haven't been posting things for you guys! But, I have a way to make it up to you all: Daily Blogging! I'm going to blog every day for the next 10 days. If any of you guys have any ideas for things that I can blog about over the next month, please get in touch, I will listen to each and every one of you and make sure that I definitely include your ideas in my blog posts over the next month.

Writing my blog is so much fun for me, but I can't do it without your support. Whether that's following my blog or my Google+ page, sending me an email (bethlovespugs123@gmail.com), or just telling your friends about me, it would mean so much to me, and it means that I can continue writing this blog, with new ideas that are interesting to you guys.

Thank you so much!!

Cross&Dots Nail Art!

Hey everyone,
I've had some requests to do nail art tutorials, so here you go! Today I am showing you how to do a cross & dots nail art (not a very original name I know :) ).

Products used:

*17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Orange Soda
*Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in White

1) First, paint all of your nails in a solid colour.

2) Then, draw a horizontal line across the middle of your thumb/ big toe using the nail art pen.

3) Draw a vertical line crossing over the previous horizontal line to create a cross. You can make the lines as thick or thin as you like (I went for quite a bold cross so used a thicker line).

4) Using the nail art pen, cover the other fingers/toes in dots.

5) Repeat for the other hand/ foot and you're done!

Fault In Our Stars Trailer!

Hi everyone!

So, the Fault In Our Stars trailer was released the other day! I'm soo looking forward to seeing it, it looks amazing! If you've not seen the trailer, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ItBvH5J6ss

Recently, I have been loving my Avon Gel Finish nail polish in Dazzle Pink. It's such a nice pink colour, and in different light, it has an almost coral tone to it. Also, because it's gel finish, there's no need for a top coat or anything like that!

Thanks for reading! As always, feel free to get in touch via my Google+ page, blog email (bethlovespugs123@gmail.com) or just by commenting!

More drawing & a little Lush review

Hi guys!

I've done a new drawing for you, this time it's Jade Thirwall! Let me know if you like seeing my drawings, because I don't want to bore you all! ;)

I thought I'd do a little Lush review for you guys as well, and today I'm going to review the Bubblegum Lip Scrub. I love this so much; it leaves your lips feeling and looking so much better after using it. Also, it gives a great base for a lipstick or lipbalm! It smells amazing, all sweet and lovely, and because it's mainly made of sugar, you can just lick it off!

Who's looking forward to 'The Fault In Our Stars' being released at cinemas?
I think for some of you it's been released already, if you've seen it, let me know what you think of it!

Thanks guys!

New drawing!

Hi guys,

I can't be more apologetic for not blogging for a few days again, I really will make sure that I'm blogging more often from now on! What I've been working on recently is a new drawing. I don't really draw that much, because I'm not the world's best artist, but I recently drew one of my first portraits/a real person. It was meant to be Perrie from Little Mix but it didn't really turn out that way... ;)

I'm still quite happy with it though, so I thought that I'd share it with you guys on my blog and see what response it gets. If you like it, let me know and I'll try and draw a bit more often!

Also, recently I have been loving my 'Cherry Me' Baby Lips. I got it a while ago, when everyone was obsessed with them, but I never really used it that much until now. It has a really nice cherry scent, and is tinted slightly so gives your lips a great colour!

Thanks for reading everyone!

Hey everyone,

Another short post I know, and quite similar to one I posted before, but I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have viewed my blog, and shared it. I can't believe the amount of support and views that I've had, and it means a lot to me!

I know it takes time to build up more readers, and to get more views, but if you have any friends that you think would enjoy reading my blog, or just want to share my blog with other people, feel free to let them know about me! I try to make my posts as interesting as possible for all of you guys, and if there's anything that you would like to see featured in my blog, leave me a comment or get in touch via my Google+ page (the link's at the side of the page :D).

Once again, thank you so much to each and every one of you!

Soap&Glory

Hi everyone!

I think that I have a bit of a Soap&Glory addiction, I have tried so many of their products and I've loved them all! The products that I am going to review today are what I currently have from the Soap&Glory range, although there are many others that I like as well!

Shower Gel: Foam Call

Foam Call (500ml) is a dual-use shower and bath body wash and is formulated with M-SUDS moisture system molecules and grapeseed EFAs, which reduce the drying effects of your soap/body wash. You just rub a handful onto damp skin, massage until it bubbles up and then rinse, just like a normal body wash.

It's scented with  peppermint essential oils, grapeseed, green fig and orange waterjuice.

It smells absolutely gorgeous and is also the first Soap&Glory body wash that I tried. The bottle is a pink plastic and, of course, comes with the trademark packaging/labels. The way that Soap&Glory package their products is really unique and pretty, from the colours to the slogans and, well everything really!

Bubble Bath: Calm One, Calm All

Calm One, Calm All (500ml) is a deluxe formula bubble bath with body lotion built in. Also, it has moisture-magnetising skin conditioners. Like a normal bubble bath, you just tip in a few capfuls and watch the mountains of bubbles appear.

Again, this smells gorgeous, and is scented with lemon balm and mallow extracts.

Body Butter: The Righteous Butter

This body butter comes in a cute little tub (50ml), with the directions for use on the lid: "After showering or bathing, smooth onto damp skin and massage until it all sinks in." It contains softening shea butter and aloe vera, and has a really unique scent that just makes you want to use it!

Hand Cream: Hand Food

This is my absolute favourite hand cream, it's non-greasy, which is great because some hand creams leave you with really greasy hands, and you end up flapping them around trying to dry them. Hand Food (50ml) contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow, which gives it a really nice, girly scent. You can also get larger tubes of Hand Food (125ml).

Body Buff: Scrub 'em and Leave 'em

Scrub 'em and Leave 'em (300ml) is a really nicely scented body buff that contains babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils. For any of you guys that are wondering how to use a body buff, you basically just scoop out a handful of the buff and rub it onto your skin, then rinse it off. There is a body butter called Daily Smooth Body Butter, I've never used it but it has the same scent as this body buff, and if you use both, it maximises the moisturising effect on your skin.

Body Mist: Mist You Madly

Mist You Madly (100ml) is a girly, floral scented body spray, and is one of my absolute favourite things from the Soap&Glory range! The smell is quite hard to describe but it is so nice! As with any other body mists/sprays, you just spritz it on whenever you need to for a "flash of fabulousness."

Vanity Case

I recently bought the Soap&Glory vanity case, and I'm really glad I did! It's a really nice pink, with Soap&Glory written on it in big white letters. It also has a brown handle, and the tassels attached to the the zips are the same colour. Inside, it is the same brown colours, with Soap&Glory written in the fabric in a paler colour. As it is quite big, I use it to hold all of my shower gels and bath bombs etc in, but you could use it for whatever you wanted! Unfortunately, I couldn't get the inside to show up on camera, but this is what it looks like from the outside!

My Soap&Glory collection!

This post is a lot longer in comparison to my other posts, let me know if you prefer longer or shorter blog posts, or a mixture of both.

Thanks for reading!
